Since leaving the office job in 2004, Matt has led numerous groups on expeditions throughout Africa, Asia and S.America.
As well as being a keen mountaineer, Matt is a qualified Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician and a member of both Cave and Mountain Rescue teams in the UK.
Through all this he has gained much experience treating injuries and illness in remote places.
He is currently a freelance medical trainer and outdoor learning practitioner.
