Paddy trained as a Medical Technician with the armed forces and completed a two year stint with an Ambulance Rescue unit in Northern Ireland, and one year with an EMS unit in the U.S.
Eventually Paddy’s love of the outdoors took him into the field of Outdoor Education where he has been working for the last 15 years. He has travelled extensively, either leading or working as a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician on expeditions to far flung corners of the planet.
His time is now divided between preparing for the next trip and training remote first aid courses anywhere in the world.
